Geraint Phillips

My interest for Photography began over 50 years ago & my first SLR Camera was a Zenith purchased at Dixons!

Having worked in various science based jobs including the NHS, I went on to study Pharmacology at Cardiff University.

Joining AstraZeneca as a Pharmaceutical Representative in 1982 & promoted to a Healthcare Specialist in 2001.

I retired late 2011.

Joined Caerphilly Camera Club in 1991.

Within three weeks I became Programme Secretary & remained in that post until last year, 30 years!

My main photographic interests are Wildlife, Landscapes & Railways.

I have included some of my photos that have done well in competitions over the years.

My main passion is videoing & photographing steam locomotives. Plus my model railway, built since I retired.

I prefer video to record steam trains so I can capture the sound & movement of the subject.
